Chudar Team distributed essential provisions to 10 families with single-parent in Chithra Nagar Kotturpuram.

Below is a case study of one such family.

Kumar is a physically challenged single parent from Kotturpuram, working as an office boy earning a meagre income. From the time his wife deserted him, he had to solely shoulder the responsibility of his aged mother and two young daughters, Yogarani and Leena.

Both the children have been associated with Chudar’s Kotturpuram centre for the last 4 years. Kumar said that he is thankful to Chudar for enabling his daughters to learn new things. He felt that when the girls were at the centre he did not have to worry about their safety.

When Valli and Amudha from Chudar gave him the essential provisions, Kumar and his family were very happy to receive them and thanked the team. Valli and Amudha felt that they are able to make a difference in peoples lives through Chudar even at a time when the state is under lockdown battling the pandemic.
