Padmini Sreenivasan, Co-Founder of Chudar, brings over 15 years of experience in the NGO sector, with a deep expertise in curriculum design, training, and educational content creation. At Chudar, she leads the design and planning of curriculum and learning materials for middle school students, focusing on activity-based and concept-driven approaches to enhance understanding across all subjects. Padmini and her team have also created modules and worksheets in Math and Science specifically to train children in Std 8 in Govt and aided schools, for the NMMS exam. Under her leadership, Chudar developed a strong volunteering and internship program, engaging youth meaningfully in projects aimed at improving the quality of education for underprivileged children. She also pioneered Community Learning Centers that offer academic and co-curricular learning opportunities for older students, helping build their confidence and broaden their exposure.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Padmini and her team created foundational online content in Maths, Science, and English, which led to a major collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Government. Her team produced over 250 concept videos aligned with the state curriculum, now featured in the government’s official education app “Manarkeni.” In addition to government partnerships, Padmini also leads Chudar’s collaborative projects with NGOs like Nalandaway and Seva Samajam, and institutions like the Rotary Club of Madras, ensuring measurable impact in student learning outcomes.
